Our Story and Team

For the past three years, we have been validating our initial premise over and over, with commercial and general aviation operators around the world.

Some years ago, I was consulting on operations for a commercial carrier in Europe. What I and the team found was that decisions were being made in large part based on gut feelings. The operator had all the data imaginable, but they simply could not access it easily. The data was siloed, each silo being managed by different individuals. So, when a disruption happened, critical decisions had to be made in real time, but they had no idea until weeks or months later whether or not they had made the right decision.

It seemed like there was an opportunity to improve how data was accessed and used. As we spoke to more and more people in the industry, we realized that the situation we had encountered was not unique. We also realized that general aviation operators, still tended to run their businesses like the corner store, despite investing millions in their aircraft. Their data is often not digitalized and therefore not easily accessible.

The result of our validation work is Aerolytix.
